Our new album cover, painted by the one and only Dane Eisenbart, in all of its glory. Expected album release date Feb. 2016. We're heading out on the road for a week to refine our live chops but will be back in Portland on the 18th for fun gig at Alberta Street Pub.
We are very excited to be gearing up for our 2015 West Coast Tour starting off on September 10th. With eight shows in eight days, we will definitely be on our toes for the whole trip, ending up right back here in Portland for the culmination at Alberta St. Pub on the 18th. Give the poster a look, it was designed by Showdeer and give it a click if you want to check out each of our dates!
We're entering the mixing faze of our new album "Monolith" and although we don't have big butts, it is true that we cannot lie: It feels good. All "Baby Got Back" references aside, the one and only Justin Phelps is hard at work dialing in a majority of our new tracks and we're are damn excited to see what emerges from these past two years of writing and recording. We are also in the process of writing two brand new songs that will be included on the album, but that's another story for another time.
Thank you for a truly magical Portland's Prom. It was our personal favorite and we can't appreciate everyone enough for the energy that they brought to the night. Next up for us is a month off to dive into finishing our new album "Monolith" which our good friend Dane Eisenbart live painted the cover of. Check it!
A special thanks to Soul'd Out Productions, the Roseland Theater, Allen Stone and Lilla for a truly memorable night of music. We had an absolute blast and look forward to working with everyone again in the near future.
We spent the weekend at Cloud City Sound with Justin Phelps recording basics for two brand new tracks that will be featured on our upcoming release "Monolith". We're only a few months away from completing the project which will be culmination of over two years of effort.
After a successful and revitalizing west coast tour, we will be returning to Cloud City Sound to work with Justin Phelps on a few new tracks for our upcoming record. Special thanks to Rebirth Brass Band, Double Tee and Soul'd Out Productions for a great show this past Friday at Dante's.
After 13 days on the road we've found ourselves in the hills of Berkeley, California overlooking the entire Bay Area. Our two Halloween themed shows were quite enjoyable, one a reunion show at the Legionnaire in Oakland and the other on Halloween night at Synergy house. Our show this evening at The Milk Bar in San Francisco has been cancelled, so we're taking the day off to watch our home town Ducks play Stanford. Next up for us is Wednesday night at Armando's in Martinez, an intimate venue that is expected to sell out. Grab your tickets early HERE to make sure your spot is reserved.
After three days, we've found our way down south in sunny San Diego. We have a day off to explore the city, relax and visit The Lost Abbey Brewing Company. Special thanks to Frog and Peach in SLO, Gallagher's in OB, Dita and John, and Natasha Vierra for being such gracious hosts to us five degenerates. We're in Buellton tomorrow night at Fig Mountain Brewing tap room.
